The Sonic love seat

The stitching along the middle of the cushions is the key necessity in
creating this style of cushioning which provides the support you need.
Not only that, but the arms are low and soft so if you like to nap and
lay down on your sofa the Sonic genuine leather sofa is the one for you! We offer the Sonic as a love seat and sofa, and it is available in black and brown. The Delta Sectional is one of the most popular sectionals at Pallucci Furniture. Its wide, fashionable chaise provides much space for comfort whether it be for sleeping, sitting or just relaxing and watching TV. The low arms on this sectional are ideal for those who like to lay down; you wont have to worry about using a pillow! In addition to the chaise, low arms and lumbar support, the Delta sectional also contains pocket springs. Pocket springs provide firm and extra support for the seat cushions. The Delta is available in black and brown and the chaise can be ordered on either the left or right hand facing side.

The Tiger ChaiseSome History About Sofas
Furniture has evolved quite a bit form its origins, the beautiful, comfy furniture we are used to today stemmed from some very simple and frankly uncomfortable designs. Originally different civilizations made their furniture from stone and wood, thankfully furniture has evolved since then. In ancient Egypt, rich people had furniture made of wood and poor people lived in houses made of mud and used furniture made of stones. In the seventeenth and eighteenth century when colonizing America the predominantly English settlers carved their furniture out of wood as well. Later in the century as the wealth of the colonies increased so did the demand for quality furniture and, as more boats arrived, so did more furniture designs leading us to the leather and upholstered furnishings we know and love today.
The word couch is derived from the french word "coucher" which means to put to bed or lay down. There are many different types of couches including the "loveseat" a two seater, and the "setee" or "sofa" with two or more seats. Sectionals are formed from multiple sections(typically 2 to 4) and usually includes two pieces that join and form a 90 degree angle. Other types of couches are the"divan," the "fainting couch" backless or partial-backed, the "chaise lounge" - long usually with one armrest, the "canape" an ornamental three seater, and the "ottoman" generally used as a footstool or an extra seat. There are also couches known by trademarked names such as the "chesterfield" named for the Earl of chesterfield and, the "Davenport". The "lofabed" is a combination of the davenport and a futon.
The 4 F's of Sofa Shopping
The stylist, Courtney Jones, breaks the process down into the 4 F's: Form, Frame, Fabric and Fill.

FORM describes the shape. What shape do you need and how much space do you have? What functions will this sofa fulfill? Are you looking for a great comfy sectional for family movie nights? Or an economical and chic 2 and 3 seater for a small condo? Form should be your first consideration.
FRAME is the next step. Jones recommends checking that your sofa is made with a hardwood frame. We at Pallucci's couldn't agree more. This is what holds your sofa together and affects durability and lifetime. This is why, with all Pallucci sofas, all of our frames are made with birch, a hardwood, and both glued and screwed together.

Once you've decided on the shape and made sure the "bones" of the sofa are solid, then comes the third step, FABRIC. What colours, textures and materials are you looking for? Pallucci's specializes in leather sofas. Easy to maintain, with high durability and breathability, you don't have to panic when guests come to visit. Just dust off the dog fur, plump the pillows and your couch will look brand new!

FILL is the final consideration. Often forgotten, fill is important. The fibers used in Pallucci sofas keep their shape so your back cushions will stay plump and supportive. All of our seat cushions are made with memory foam so sitting down the seat will mold, but it will spring back as soon as you stand. Also it's long-lasting and tops the list in comfort!
Finding the perfect sofa is all about research and quality. It's an investment piece for your living space and comfort and style are top concerns. So come check out Pallucci Furniture and see how we've made that happen!
