How to Get the Most Out of Your Pull-Out Sectional
Tips for Longevity & Safety from Pallucci Furniture
Pull-out sectionals are perfect for maximizing space and comfort—but like any quality piece of furniture, they need a little care to stay in great shape. Here's how to use yours properly:

✅ 1. Open and Close Gently
Don’t yank or slam the mechanism. Use both hands to pull out the bed frame smoothly. Avoid forcing it if something feels stuck—check for caught fabric or cushions first.
✅ 2. Keep the Mechanism Clear
Make sure the area underneath and behind the sofa is clear of objects (like toys, remotes, or blankets) before pulling out or folding in the bed.
✅ 3. Rotate the Mattress (if applicable)
Some models come with a foldable mattress. Rotating it every few months helps maintain even wear and keeps it comfortable longer.
✅ 4. Weight Limits Matter
Stick to the recommended weight limit for sleeping surfaces (usually around 250–500 lbs depending on the model). Too much weight can damage the frame or mechanism.
✅ 5. Avoid Sitting on the Edge When Pulled Out
The edge of a pull-out bed isn’t designed for regular sitting—this can warp or bend the frame over time.
✅ 6. Store Bedding Separately
Don’t store bedding inside the sofa unless your model is designed for it. Storing bulky blankets can strain the frame or prevent it from closing properly.
✅ 7. Regular Checks & Light Maintenance
Tighten screws and check the pull-out mechanism every few months. A little preventive care goes a long way!
