What does August mean in terms of furnishings

What does August mean in terms of furnishings? Well we all know that we spend less time in the house in the summer, and more time outside, but being inside our home less, means that when we come home, exhausted after a busy day outside we want to collapse on the couch, or fall into bed, and feel comfort.

Perhaps you wake up from a nap on the couch after having fallen asleep and you are feeling stiff and sore, or worse yet you wake up in the morning, after tossing and turning all night for the 2 or 3 weeks in a row. Maybe its time for a new mattress or couch, or both. It has been proven scientifically that there are 2 hours of sleep each night we need during the REM stage of our sleep that allow us to heal both our organs, our brains and our mind. If we don’t sleep through those 2 hours, we wake up feeling groggy, agitated and unrested. This can also lead to illness over time because we are not sleeping properly. During the summer is even worse because our bodies naturally overheat during the night and if you are not sleeping well to begin with, your sleep will be even worse, Leaving you with little energy during the day to do the things you need and want to do.

Though not the same when you are having a nap on the couch, there is nothing more refreshing than taking a half an hour snooze to wake up feeling rejuvenated, and ready to get on with our day, or evening.
